EBOLA PANIC GROWS: U.S Citizen Infected As WHO Declares Global Health Emergency

🚨 “EBOLA PANIC GROWS: U.S Citizen Infected As WHO Declares Global Health Emergency”

A fresh Ebola outbreak is causing global concern after a U.S. medical missionary tested positive for the deadly virus while working in the Democratic Republic of Congo and was flown to Germany for emergency treatment. Reports say the rare “Bundibugyo” strain has already killed over 130 people, with hundreds of suspected cases spreading across Congo and neighboring Uganda.

Health officials say this strain is especially worrying because there is currently no fully approved vaccine specifically made for it. The World Health Organization has now declared the outbreak a Public Health Emergency of International Concern, warning that the virus could spread further if urgent action is not taken.

CNN posted about the outbreak

The infected American, identified in reports as missionary doctor Peter Stafford, reportedly contracted the virus while treating patients in Congo. He was transferred to Berlin, Germany, where he is now receiving treatment in a high-security isolation ward. Several other people believed to have had close contact with infected patients are also being monitored in Europe.  The U.S CDC has also introduced tighter travel measures involving travelers coming from affected regions like Congo, Uganda, and South Sudan, while assuring citizens that the immediate risk to the U.S public remains low for now.
